A commentary on how flippantly the word ‘love’ is used to describe our feelings towards inanimate objects and things. This small-scale book features images of objects I have at one point or another said that I love; the intent was to treat the objects featured with as much devotion as I would someone I love.
A typographic poster accompanied the book, stating “Shoes were my first love”; an exploration of creating type practically with lipstick and lip-prints, rather than computer generated.
